The Programme
The programme is based on our Practice Profit Pipeline model, and focuses on setting standards in order to identify and eliminate exceptions. We build the financial model of each department and evaluate capacity, comparing this with current performance.
We then help the firm to launch their own bespoke ‘campaign’, focusing at first on cash flow and turning ‘lock-up’ into money in the bank. The emphasis is on performance measurement and improvement at an individual, departmental, and firm-wide level, ensuring that partners and finance staff have suitable management information to ensure major improvements.
Once the firm’s cash flow is strong and stable, we complement the cash management campaign with cost reduction and sales improvement techniques, emphasising at first the short term imperatives, and then looking to the medium term future to ensure sustainable growth and development.
